Thirded. I think it's tremendous that in the middle of his hectic work and travel schedules Simon goes to the trouble of providing us with such excellent entertainment.

Thank you Simon.

One of the 37 candidates for a 2012 Renault (sorry, Lotus) drive.

I understand that a talkative Scandewegian rally driver has just been signed so Renault/Lotus/Ben Elton have just the one seat left for the 36 others to squabble over!

I totally agree with all of the above. One of the highlights of a GP weekend is the arrival of Simon's snaps and comments. They get better every year

No idea, but probably for the same reason that I've just had EIGHT notifications of yours.

Team "Ren-tus" needs focus and direction, and unlike Simon's contribution here, I have not seen any recently and I don't see coming soon with their new signing.

Can I ask all of us to hold hands and wish Robert a quick and full recovery

My Mum used to say "No news is good news" and I loved my Mum.... (But she knew nothing about the hard realities of professional sport)

Then again, I thought Jenson Button would be MURDERED on Lewis's home soil, so let's see what the new season brings.

As above.
It makes me feel a lot more involved in current EffOne to get the news straight from the horse's mouth as t'wer.
As a non Sky man I'm sure we will all be less informed next year, short of reviving a long-extinct Autosprout subscription.

Thanks a lot Simon.

I too would like to thank Simon. The photos are fantastic and the tag lines are hilarious.
I hope to see you in a village hall sometime near the end of January.

Did the 'elfin safety' brigade know about this, Phil? Real live people standing within 6 feet of a moving racing car - questions will be raised in the House!

Not only that Alan ...........but Red Bull manage to convince the Milton Keynes Council to close all the roads on what is probably one of the busiest shopping days of the year

Mr Arron would like to put it on record that he did not "have his feet up", contrary to a malicious rumour spread by Rainford P, but actually wrote two features and, between times, took Mrs A Xmas shopping (albeit in Brighton rather than Milton Keynes - no Red Bull RB7s visible, although there were a few Skoda Octavia taxis).

Was DC wearing those earplugs in order to block out Jake?

Indeed so, Geoff. I've been using it for a year or so now, but still haven't experimented with about half the available menus...

Well Done!

I'm sure that customers of Lloyds Banking Group will be delighted to learn how successful (or not) their investment in Virgin Racing has been. I expect that will have been enough to seal record bonuses for all those involved:

£17.6 million

How much does it cost to construct an actual wind tunnel ?

The one all those years ago at Specialised Mouldings was probably built for less than McLaren's weekly catering bill.
