Can you help?- We have been researching the history of a Cooper T51 Climax chassis number F2-7a-57. The car was run by Rob Walker in 1959 and competed in many races:
59 Glover Trophy- Moss- 1st
59 Monaco Grand Prix- Trintignant- 3rd
59 Dutch Grand Prix- Moss- rtd
59 British Grand Prix- 5th
59 German Grand Prix - Trintignant- 8th
59 Portugese Grand Prix- Trintignant- 4th
59 Italian Grand Prix- 9th
59 US Grand Prix- Trinrgnant- 2nd
We have been using Sheldon's black book to research this but do not have the copy that includes 1960 onwards. Can anyone who has a copy please tell us what races the car did in 1960 and 61 (if any).

In the index for 1960, it appears only twice:
60 Argentine GP - Trint/Moss - 3
60 Int Trophy - Moss (intended spare but raced) - Ret
No further mentions.
Good luck - the T51s are even harder than the T53s.

I have spent many, many hours trying to sort out the Coopers, including the Rob Walker cars, without much success.
The only additional information I have on this car is that Jeffrey Pattinson (of Coys of Kensington) had it in 1989. I believe he bought it from John Pearson, who had owned it for several years. Pattinson sold it to Jeremy Keegan, and it was raced for him by his brother Rupert (the former F1 driver) and Hugh Leventon. I haven’t heard anything of it since 1990, and there is of course a more important important missing link between 1960 and the 1980s.
I suspect, incidentally, that the car raced in 1959/60 as F2-7-57, and that the ‘7a’ was applied later (by Sheldon?) to distinguish this car from the original Rob Walker F2-7-57, which was a T43.
