bottom of the page in this link,  True Scale have announced some cancellations ! most disappointing are the Chaparrals that I was looking forward to ! I have all the road runners they have done so far. would anyone know the reason for this ? economics perhaps ?

I noticed that also. It could be economics or it could be that TSM determined that there just wasn't a market for them. Like you, I too have a very good selection of  Chaparrals and they round out my Can Am collection quite nicely.

Oh bugger! I've been waiting for those Chaparalls for a while..........

Me to. :well:

I've send TSM an e-mail on wednesday and was pleasantly suprised when I got the answer the naxt day.

This is the response I got:

'Our office has had the unique pleasure of working with Mr. Hall from Chaparral on numerous model projects, but unfortunately over the last year we experienced a bit of a breakdown in communication between that caused these projects to stall for a considerable amount of time.  This caused several Chaparral projects to be put on hold because we were not receiving the information and feedback required, as we would never produce a model without Mr. Halls full approval with our commitment to historical accuracy.

We anticipate that we will revisit making new Chaparral models in the coming years, but rather than have these items put on indefinite hold we considered it more fair to collectors to cancel the items for now.  Our intention will be to re-announce the models if we are able to complete these projects at a later date.'

I assume we will be waiting a while longer. ):

The only Argentine-built F1 car, the Berta, attempted to be at 1975 Argentine GP, was seen made by a craftsman recently. Over the last years, I'm trying to convince my friend of 380W Models to recreate his version of the car and the F5000 version, too. Mr Ambrosio did a partial research to known which decals of sponsors had the F5000 car driven by Bill Simpson in 1975.

Is there likely to be a 1/43 model of Marcus Ericsson's F1 Sauber from the 2015 season. ?

SPARK will most likely produce each car from the 2015 eff1 grid with the exception being Ferrari.

Despite the large amount of information that we have supplied to them, I find that the Connew model seems to have disappeared from all the listings on the Spark website.

They announced that they were planning to produce it in their forthcoming models months ago but I can see no mention of it now.

Does anyone know more?

Barry, it was there in the 2015 catalogue. Have you tried emailing them ?

The thing is, Ian, this is all being orchestrated by Vincent Mausset, formerly of the Darnval sports car organisation, who lives in Hong Kong.

He is the one who first told us that Spark were interested and everything is being done through him. Peter keeps threatening to give him a call but like many things, it just doesn't happen.

Maybe the car is just too far away from production to be featured in the coming soon listing.

I'm a bit worried about the Spark website. It lists S4240 Lotus 80, Andretti, 3rd Spanish GP 1979, as "still in development" - I got mine 3 months ago!.........

Barry, Spark normally show forthcoming prototypes and release their new catalogues at the Nurnberg Toyfair.

You only have to wait until the 27th January to find out if its in their 2016 lineup.

Hi Barry, i have ordered the Connew as part of my stock, it was on a January order form from the Australian Distributor Apex Replicas. Spark posted a pre production sample on Facebook in the middle of January..

Yes, we were delighted to see that the model has finally been announced. It looks very good, too.

Given Spark's tendency to produce the same model in different liveries as time passes, I have been wondering if a Lec - David Purley version might appear one day.

I love Genie Mk10. And I would like to see a Genie Mk10, the 1962 Mickey Thompson Indy 500 car, 1962 Zink turbine car, and the Mustang 1 concept car.

Reading your post scrolling back: I got the model thanks to your post. It looks amazing in every aspect. Thanks foe pointing out.

Now something different:

I know the model has been done: Konrad Lamborghini KM011 group C car. It was available in italy and france as 'Lamborghini Collection' magazine with modelcar.

Does anybody know who made the model and if it is available somehow on the normal market apart from ebay?
