This one was for the local paper, Jock Taylor collecting a new fairing from Les Siddle, owner of Lamplas which was a local firm most of us bought our bodywork from.

Barry Brindley on the outfit, you did well to recognise Carnaby , correct for Parrish & Marshall.Dave Saville & Dave Hall on the Sabre Tools outfit and a relatively easy one of Roger Marshall being chased by Stavros Parrish.. Carnaby??
Posted 14 March 2011 - 20:31
Yes correct, on the Zeger triple[55 Geoff Johnson

The first shot is Steve Johnson who was killed at the Ulster in a crash with Phillip McCallan, it gets sad going through my old shots as the number of riders no longer with us is considerable.I had the same sponsor as Geoff, Mike Grainger of GT motorcycles Plymouth. Mike had a massive poster of Geoff on a GPZ900 in his showroom. Yet anothe sadly missed rider.

Well done, British championship round ( I think ) at Croft 1980 on part of the track that is no longer used, a shame as the old layout was far superior to the modern one, much better for close racing but the facilities weren't they were dreadful. The rider leading is the "Flying Coalman " from Barnsley Rob Brown.not sure who's leading on the 4th shot but the other 4 riders look like Andy Bond, Steve Henshaw, Steve Manship and Phil Henderson - Croft, 1980?

I'm trying the lot, some have been kept in carrier bags for years through my many house moves and are rather battered so whichever one comes out best I'll post but the earliest were taken when I was using crap kit as opposed to now when I use Canon digital.Great shots Greg, are you scanning transparencies, negs or original photos?
