Would somebody be able able to supply me a list of all the American car magazines for sale in the early 1960's. I remember reading some but I cannot remember the title. Sports Cars Illustrated and Sports Car Graphic are not the ones. There was a bias in the magazine towards motor racing and european imported sports cars.

Sports Car Pictorial, Speed Age, Sports Car Guide, Sports Car Quarterly, On The Grid, Today's Motorsports, and of course Competition Press. Those were just some of the sports car and racing themed magazines. Car magazines were plentiful also: Motor Trend, Car Life, Motor Life, Car Craft, Hot Rod, and many more.

Those were just some of the sports car and racing themed magazines. Car magazines were plentiful also: Motor Trend, Car Life, Motor Life, Car Craft, Hot Rod, and many more.
I have a few issues of "Foreign Cars Illustrated and Motor Sport" from 1958-1960. Also "Motor Sport Illustrated". These are in magazine format.
In newspaper format, I have some oddballs: "Northwest Rod News", "Motor Racing and Economy Car News", "Sports Car Digest", "Motor Sport News".

Add to these: Autosports (subtitled "An International Racing Magazine), US Autosports, Floyd Clymer's Auto Topics, Motor Sport International (all 3 issues of it), Auto & Motor Sport Illustrated, Motor Sport Illustrated.Sports Car Pictorial, Speed Age, Sports Car Guide, Sports Car Quarterly, On The Grid, Today's Motorsports, and of course Competition Press.
