Perhaps he has difficulty in acquiring a Chinese visa? Must have done something naughty...

Could simply be personal reasons... Perhaps he is anti-communism... Maybe he doesn't like chinese food?

They looked like Chinese shirts to me....

Perhaps he is banned because he is doing China's silk shirt industry no favours :rotfl:

He's 63, endlessly rich and probably has a fleet of yachts. He can do whatever the hell he wants. Being cooped up like a battery hen on a long haul flight is probably not high on his retirement to-do list.

Was he allowed in China in his Jordan days?

Lets hope they confiscated and destroyed them for public safety reasons...

He already took one to get to Malaysia. How hard could it be to travel on to China two days after Sepang?

Why is Eddie Jordan never in China?

Was caught in a back alley once dressed as Bo Peep, shagging a blow up sheep. Didn't go down well with the authorities.

The importation of blow up sheep into China is a serious offence. ;)

He did the same thing Brundle did in Hungary: no one knows what.

That's just because Hungary falls during the school holidays and he wanted to spend time with his children. The BBC wouldn't let him, ITV did.

He's been patiently waiting outside the Min Jiang in Kensington for Jake and DC to turn up...

Possibly something to do with DC's comment during the Malaysia forum about Eddie's health? I got the impression that it was some sort of chest problem, so Shanghai's almost ever-present smog might be the reason.

You should have posted this to Crofty and Ant in FP3 to see what they would have said. Perhaps they would have replied "Because Brundle is never in Turkey". Or was it Hungary?

Instead we got to find out how many racing drivers have diabetes. I kid ye not, at 4am in the morning I find out that a racing driver in the USA has a blood sugar level indicator on his steering wheel......

Charlie Kimball's actually doing something quite clever. He's managed to turn his diabetes into a sponsorship opportunity from a pharmaceutical company and a technology demonstration for them. They can monitor his blood sugar during the race and his drinks bottle has whatever he needs in it.

He might not be in IndyCar without it.

Because he was the fifth member of the gang of four.

Because he was the guy in front of the tank.

Because he spouts modern art with every sentence. He's an uncontrollable artist of words.

...

Well maybe the sailing is a better explanation :p
