Good preparation & attention to detail Example: the only running H16 BRM, that never missed a beat since it was rebuilt & demonstrated (including the odd race) yet in period as JYS would frequently point out since, was a dog!we have had 30 years to better understand the differences that existed in the day with damping, set up nuances etc and finally we have time - when these cars ran in period they HAD to be at the next test, next Grand Prix etc and so with a limited budget there was only so much a small team could do.

Do you know why the Daytona was sponsored by Flygvapnet (Swedish Air Force)?

I thought that there were no more than a handful of Routemasters left in service in the Smoke, if any at all these days due to the dreaded 'elf 'n safety, Barry???I trust you are referring to the orange racing car. There is certainly nothing strange to a Londoner about a Routemaster - roof or no roof!

Couldn't say, Tony, I've lived on Anglesey for 33 years!

as a part time Londoner I can indeed confirm that the "Tourist Routes" still have them - having said that I cant recall seeing one for a long time!!

My understanding is that Routemasters are reserved for 'Heritage' routes in London.

Foreigners have got some of them. Fairly recently I saw a Routemaster working around Schaffhausen on the Swiss-German border, operating some kind of 'Touristenfahrt', and I've seen others, they seem to crop up everywhere.
