Wrong again, Cochise. 7th after a very tense battle with Kenseth. He's going to finish outside the top 10. What a horrible team.

Seriously, Chip, WTF?
Either sign Juan and spend serious money on the team, or let him go as a friend you can't do anything more for.

Just cought some "jolly fat dude" on Speed TV, doing a piece on Kyle Busch. It was a piss take obviously, but was pretty funny. The big guy was sat in front of a chalk board, dressed in a mechanics outfit???.....does the scene ring a bell? Would like to look up a few more of his pieces but did'nt catch his name.
Sounds like Rutledge Wood. He's funny at times. He's also a host on the American version of Top Gear.
Typical Pocono race today, nothing to write home about. I'm very happy to see Gordon get the win. 2 wins pretty much clinches you a Chase spot under this format. They've had good runs of late. Perhaps they're getting into a championship groove.
And thank you guys for posting JPM's radio convos. Throughout the race I kept saying "They have no idea what they're doing". Then I come on here to see I was right

NEWS: Kyle Busch fails post-race inspection. Too low on the left front. Car is being taken back to the R&D center. Expect penalties later this week

I think you just said it.what exactly is wrong with that douchebag Harvick?
To all the BP strategy naysayers, keep in mind he was going to finish 4th until his trans started acting baulky and he had to start keeping in 4th gear. Not shifting killed his lap times and he did really, really well to nurse the car home in 7th while still fighting off Kenseth at the end.
Having said that, yeah BP needs to be BoPped in the back of the head.

what exactly is wrong with that douchebag Harvick? he doesn't want to get into a trading paint fight with Busch,i don't like Busch but Busch would wreck the hell out of him.
It's a show. He's all talk. If you look back at all his (many) incidents, I can't ever recall him actually fighting anyone. Most of the time its just a lot of finger pointing, usually with his helmet still on...

The 42 car and driver combo yesterday was so good, that even with two botched crew chief calls and a balky transmission in the closing laps, they still finished 7th. And gained two spots in the standings.
That's pretty good.

Just wanted to share that I thought about it, and the conclusion I came to is this:
The 42 car and driver combo yesterday was so good, that even with two botched crew chief calls and a balky transmission in the closing laps, they still finished 7th. And gained two spots in the standings.
That's pretty good.
That's a positive spin on it, not entirely wrong either.
Worryingly though, it's those botched crew chief calls that just keeps on coming. It's almost more safe to bet on having a few of those in a race than a Montoya rage ...

From Jayski (see link), Kyle Busch was penalized 6 points for failing to meet post race inspection requirements.
Before anyone says what a small fine it was, it's in line with what they've done in the past. Under the old system, a penalty like this usually got a 25 pt fine. The maximum number of points you could earn in a race was 190 so you took roughly a 13% pt penalty. In the new system, max pts per race is 47. 13% of 47 is roughly 6 pts.

Thanks for doing that calculation. Or, in other words, it's like he finished 9th instead of 3rd.SOURCE
