Hi ,my name is chad, and i live in Brisbane Australia.
I have just finished restoring a 1968 Rennmax F2 car with english Palliser running gear.It has a twin cam 1600 Novamotor and I am chasing any information on these engines,as nobody out here knows anything about them.
I need information such as where they were made, when,by whom, and for what purpose.(racing-road)
If you know any info at all,It would be greatly appreciated.

Novamotor is an italian company.
They were experts in tuning Toyota Twincams for F3 use in the 1970s.
I believe the it is the creation of the Pedrazzani brothers, who also made the Tecno boxer-12 for F1 use.
From what I can see, they are still in the F3-engine business, tuning FIAT and BMW engines.

Chad, I'm trying to remember whose car the one you have is. The Palliser running gear is unusual for a Rennmax, I think it was used on the Mildren Mono (Yellow Submarine), however, and there were people around who did funny things, of course.
One person who might be able to give you more detailed information on what Novomotor were about in those days (the engine would have come into Australia during the really rabid ANF2 days around 1973-5, I would think) would be Chris Farrell.
He's a dentist at Helensvale, you'll find his number in the phone book.
