RIP.

I've mentioned it here http://forums.autosp...w...t&p=5178812 but I think this may deserve its own thread.

Barrichello will use a special helmet at this Brazilian GP on tribute to Sid Mosca.
This livery will be made by Sid's son, Alan.
The livery design will be presented tomorrow by Barrichello.

RIP Sid Mosca.

Senna's is for me the most recognizable and valuable helmet design along the whole F1 history.

RIP Sid Mosca

That man did many great but not too detailed helmet designs.

R.I.P.

Love the uncluttered and clean designs he made for Senna and Hakkinen with their great looking colour schemes.

So here it is, revealed on twitter by Barrichello, a new version of the 1985 Senna inspired design.

Edit: It also carries the "Painted by Sid" badge!

To be honest I always thought Barrichello's design was a dud, and it's not really doing Senna's any favour there. :)

Needless to say though Mosca has plenty of iconic ones to his name.

Sad news. Gugelmin's is my favourite design by him, although they're all paragons of style and simplicity compared to most designs of today.
