HI,
I recall that in the early 90's Moto Guzzi made small production run of their 1950's 350 single Grand Prix bike-brand new machines made from the old drawings and tooling. Has anyone seen one of these come up for sale? Just curious.
Thanks,
Bob

No never. Have to say I've never heard of this, but what a stonking good idea.

It was reported in the "specialist" press that they intended to - even the V8 was mentioned.

Potential prices were astronomical.
However, they never did . . . . . . .

Well glad to hear I wasn't dreaming that is was going to maybe happen, thanks for the info larryd, too bad they didn't make a run of them. I think an updated version of that bike (keep it a 350 but with water cooling, 4 valve head, modern suspension and brakes AND the dustbin fairing) would be a huge success for a new street bike, particularly if they could keep the weight reasonable-not so easy to do with the engine mods I've suggested.

As the plans are available for the V-8, it is highly likely they are still knocking around for the singles. If you have enough Euros, I am sure the boys in and around Mandello will be able to knock up a few more V-8s! I was privileged to view a private collection of Guzzis when over a few years ago. This a small selection.
