Bugatti finished the Spanish Grand Prix on 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8 - that must be record?

Which year are we talking about? Bugattis certainly filled the first eight places in the 1929 San Sebastian (not Spanish) GP, but as twelve of the fourteen starters were Bugattis this is hardly surprising.

Alfa Romeos took the first eight places in the 1934 Targa Florio - 12 starters, 10 Alfas . In 1935 they took eight of the first nine - 22 starters, 13 Alfas. In 1939 Maserati took the first eight and in1940, the first 11 - though in both cases all were Maseratis.
