I will start with a shot taken at what I believe was the Eifelrennen in April 1967 when the winter had not yet come to an end. What you see is the field of Formula V cars at the end of the back straight and turning in the so-called "Nordkurve". This part of the old Nordschleife does no longer exist, but had been replaced with the new GP track in 1983/84. Note the white layer on the tarmac. There had been snow on the track hours before so obviously they had removed it very quickly.
