There is no chance for it to happen. Neither Ham, nor Vettel will join Ferrari. I bet it will be Massa if he can raise his game. It not, it will be decided between Perez or Hülkenberg.

Well, we know the F2012 was good round Monaco, but what about the pace at Barcelona?
That was also race winning pace.

We cant say that with a mac starting from the last. The lotus and williams looked like race winning pace.

Another sector and Kimi would've zipped past Alonso.

We will have to wait until Canada to see how much the car has improved. Monaco is much more dependent on mechanical grip as opposed to aero grip. I don't think Monaco is representative of a cars performance for the high speed tracks coming up. Let's hope Canada shows that the aero grip has improved and the car is close to the front.

Forza Ferrari!

IIRC Ferrari were thought to be much better on the faster sections and low speed performance was the issue.I'm pretty hopeful. The car can go well on kerbs and if the updates do adress the top speed issue then we can be very competitive in Canada and also the upcoming aero circuits.

Yep, but that was because Alonso was looking at Maldonado's rear, and there went his tyres, whereas Kimi had clear air. Until then, Kimi had nothing on those 2, and you got the feeling that the Williams was holding the Ferrari back.

Also, F2012 was competitive in Spain, and Monaco, only the McLaren can say that properly, and even then. Maybe it is just me, but I don't see the need to justify Alonso's performances with saying the car is rubbish.
Alonso's main trait is that he is fantastic, not matter how the car. I just don't get the need to say the car is rubbish when saying how good he is driving, but I guess that is me.

Sure, if it was only Monaco, like F150 last year, I would say that car is bad, but when it has got podium at Barcelona and Monaco, with the potential for much more, there cannot be any doubt.

Anyways, let's see how those pesky exhausts do in Montreal, and I hope they pull Ferrari ahead of the rest.

No, Williams pace was winning pace, not Ferrari´s. It´s obvious the car has improved a lot, but i still can´t see how this car is better than McLaren, Mercedes, Lotus, Williams or Red Bull.

At 3 of the forthcoming 4 tracks top speed will play a massive role. There is no way in the world to be competitive without a good top speed in Canada, Valencia and Hockeinheim. I think the next GP will disclose quite much about our chances. If we are able to improve in this certain area, Fernando will grab the title, if not, he won't be able to keep up with the front and even if he had a good race pace he won't be able to overtake because of the lack of top speed. So let's pray for us! :)

You can't really say that Ferrari is in overall worse than any of the mentioned cars. We have to look at it race by race. In Monaco, Ferrari was in race better than Mclaren and Lotus, in Barca they were definitely faster than Mercedes and Red Bull.

The performance of the car is now acceptable because it allowes Fernando to fight with the big boys. Of course, we need more performance, but we were told to be calm and wait for the further updates. I hope that we can make in Canada another step forward. It won't be easy, but I have a good feeling about this season...

Remember, our top speed is not so bad anymore. OK, need another 5-6 km/h to be at the top, but that is far from bad. And even if you don't have great top speed in Canada, with DRS you can overtake without many problems. That shouldn't be an issue. Nevertheless we all expect another step forward in terms of top speed and traction.
