Must be 3/4 races ago - just not good enough!! Hope they don't have the rights next year; and while it isn't always the most exciting, I actually enjoy it. If you have rights, show them - hours later is no good!!

I refuse to pay for ESPN so yeah I'm hoping it will move next year- I guess football will have a much bigger audience than DTM will

Motors TV used to show it a few years ago- nowadays they don't seem to have the cash to get these series (see also lack of Bathurst live coverage). Luckily the German TV network webstreamed the race today

well done to Bruno for winning the championship

Well done to BMW and Bruno for clinching be Title. Paffett and Merc must wonder how they didn't win it.

BMW can certainly feel justified in making the right decision to cut back their Mini WRC programme - they won the Title that means the most to them.

I keep forgetting to watch the highlights so have mostly followed the season via Autosport reports. I had high hopes for Priaulx bug it been a rather disappointing first season.

Well done BMW, i still would have preferred to see them clinching the F1 title, but DTM is also a very respectable serie.

True but then they should be better next year, in both. As for DTM, their biggest weakness is the depth of their drivers. Only 2/6 are real contenders. Coulthard and Wolff will be out and Wickens and Vietoris should improve.

I really wish they'd go somewhere else other than Brands in this country. DTM cars aren't renowned for their passing abilities anyway, and then they put them on the circuit least conducive for overtaking for those kinds of cars.

Ridiculous – unless it’s the GP track. Putting those cars on a glorified go kart track simply defies belief. Virtually no chance of overtaking....how is that making that a good show – or showing the DTM in a good light? Would like to see them at Donington....sadly, money talks.

It's on the small track, 98 laps...

I hope they don't switch to the GP track; they'd ruin it's relative lack of high catch-fencing as they have done to the Indy circuit. I heard a rumour Palmer was keen for them to try Snetterton now it has a Grade 2 licence but they like the near-London location. I was there for their last appearance at Donington in '03; I recall it wasn't the greatest of races. In a fictional universe, I'd like to see them go to Thruxton...

If the BTCCs can do this, then surely the DTMs would be able to pass? :D

Because it's a crappy little track for something like DTM. Fine for everything else.

They need Brands GP, Donington, etc.

Well, indeed. I don't think Oulton Park hosts any international events these days but it can't be too far off the specs of Zandvoort, Oschersleben or Zeltweg. And big-time motor racing should return to the Northwest. Certainly nothing more "basic" than that. Knockhill's one of those circuits that's at Croft- or Pembrey- or Mallory Park-level. Norbert Haug's going to wonder why you're asking him to change into his team gear in a shed.

Brands, Donington, even Silverstone once they've dropped their WSBK date, are the only clear options in Britain.

Bring back the Birmingham Superprix, that's what I say.
