I have a good few from 1983 I can post up? All race shots, no paddock if that was what you were after?

Looks like Ferrari has the front of the Cagiva right down on the bumpstops!
Becketts braking zone I reckon.

Here's one of Spencer and Paul Newman during a test day at Laguna. Newman put in a few laps of the first March 82G IMSA GTP car.....

My recollection is that Spencer was doing some tire testing that day. Can't remember if I have any action pics of Spencer from that day. If I do they will eventually make their way into my bike set.

Jim, I was going to ask who this was but your file name gives the answer. I thought it looked like Graziano, but didn't recognize the livery. Do you remember when and where this picture was taken ? The pre-Mordidelli ( and pre-Gallina ) pics I had seen of Graziano were with very different looking machines, leathers etc...

Did he ever ride "properly" for Serge Zago? Couple of years before my time, I'm afraid.

I was there but don't have the programme any more.
I was in the Stowe grandstand and witnessed the terrible incident involving Norman Brown and Peter Huber

Brown & Huber crash shocking & unnecessary, Huber lost his helmet to, shades of Simoncelli.

Many thanks for that info Graham.Six "official" & Sheene who put HB stickers on his private bike for no charge, he hoped to get their backing the following year, didnt happen, he was well miffed that they gave the "spare" factory bike to Boet Van Dulman for Silverstone.

IIRC Van Dulmen wasn't too happy with the bike he was given and elected to ride his own bike in the race, could be wrong on that though, the mists of time and all that...
Re the Brown/Huber crash, I agree that it should never have happened and I think that both riders lost their helmets as there was some controversy afterwards about helmet straps not being checked at scrutineering or somesuch, but it was a moot point at the time I think. I saw the video of Herve Guilleux after he came off at Copse and the strange helmet he had, opened by a hinge system at the back and strapless.
Perhaps Philippe can throw some light on this?
