For example if I wanted to find out how many laps Barrichello had led in his entire career does any website provide this data? Thanks

For example, this week I was looking into the dismal performance of Renault this year.
They have slipped from 4th best car to 9th best car within 6 months.
To see if this is the worst slide ever for an F1 team I needed to find the start of year performance (first 4 races) and the end of year performance (last 4 races) for each team for each year.
Finding the ranking after 4 races was not a problem, but finding the ranking based on the last 4 races only, ignoring all previous races for that year, proved to be a chore, no matter what web site I used.
Took me all day.
And yes, no other team had slipped by more than 3 positions by year end, compared to Renault's 5 position slip.

But as for genuine slumps like that, not sure. Red Bull were possibly 4th fastest car for several races in 08 and by the end of the year were 7th or 8th best. BMW also looked pretty mediocre by the end of that season too having started out 3rd best

I picked; total points ranking first 4 races vs. total points ranking last 4 races.
I well remember the examples you cite but non beat this years Renault failure.
Also remember, in the past we had fewer races and fewer teams and different points system.

And they were on the podium again in Singapore. 2009 was a really weird season though, I remember BMW having such oscillations and pretty much every other team when I think about it.Well in 2009 Toyota went from Front row lock out in Bahrain to back of the grid in monaco (2 races)

Being pedant, BMW was actually 2nd car in early 2008. At least untill Barcelona, then they dropped badly.Well in 2009 Toyota went from Front row lock out in Bahrain to back of the grid in monaco (2 races)

I don't see why anybody would compile a list of F1 stats for free on the web just so people don't look at it.
