It is a pity but that has little to do with a company having a decent engineering unit.

Finally got around to watching it today.
Its a bit "light", not going into details, and its clear the target audience is not an F1 fan.
Their target audience has probably never heard of Williams.
Its also attempts to create a storyline of events happening during one week between races. New parts being designed, tested in the simulator, having meetings, getting it fabricated and delivered and so forth. All completely untrue IMHO, but I suppose in these days docomentaries are there to entertain, not inform.

Worth watching once.

Rubens didnt appear at all.
Not one tiny bit.
Pastor was in various shots - a few soundbites, the simulator, and what appeared to be footage from a "filming" day at Silverstone.
Had to be a private filming day - nobody else was there, and under normal circumstances I dont think they'd let people drive the wrong way down pit lane.

It's on youtube if you search for it - a very good watch, seems like Williams have all the resources in the world, hopefully only a matter of time before they are moving towards the front again.

A little bit of wool being pulled over the eyes - for instance they imply throughout that Williams are running a flywheel KERS system.

With the amount of inefectual parts that Williams brought to the track (seemed like a new front wing every race weekend, sometimes two for comparison) its probably quite likely that this is how they operate.

Thought it was good, as you don;t get to see inside the facilities much, but the story is a bit disjointed, nothing really new in it, but just makes me wonder if Williams have all that facility and there still at the back of the grid, that there is something very amiss there, and as a Williams supporter it does make you feel that the team has a long way to go before it will close its doors,

Very good program to appease the stakeholders, surprised they didn;t release it as an IPO teaser.

Watching that I get the opposite feeling, improve procedures and some of the technical people then all those facilities mean that things will change sooner rather than later. Appart from Lotus Williams are pretty much the only mid field team with those facilities, Force India outsources carbon fibre and the cars drive chain, Toro Rosso is still hiring and expanding but probably still relies on Red Bull, Sauber relies heavily on Ferrari.

You could say this about most F1 teams though.. but it's not the resources that designate success, it's the design team as a whole as well as everything else clicking perfectly together. Honda and Toyota had more resources then most and yeah..

edit - And Force India for example have been on an upward curve in the last few years, and Williams sadly the opposite. I hope Williams can once again succeed in the future but it'd be going 'against the grain' IMO.
