Premat in 25th beating a rookie pay driver and two cars that crashed out some 1.3s off, while 1.3s off would put Massa in about P6 in F1, I suppose it is very competitive.

Just watched the race, and that was an absolutely fantastic drive by Whincup! Gutted for Davison but second isn't bad after all. Surprised to see Lowndes finishing 4th after all his problems.
So what happened to Lowndsey? I was just perpetually out yesterday and missed the race

Got a flat tyre towards the end of the race, don't know which lap, and somehow managed to get his wild car into pitlane. He was practically in last position after that.

I was hoping Davison could hang on, but catching the backmarker at the beginning of the penultimate lap cost him. Still, a fantastic drive from Whincup and Tander did well to get a podium.

Sometimes 'entertainment' can still produce motorracing.
It is still a very dangerous place however. Turn 8 bit 4 or 5 cars with Jason Bright going to hospital witrh a sore shoulder. I am told the car is too damaged as is the driver for today. In all reality of all the cars they may resurect 1 or 2, and they will be walking wounded.
