Testing almost over and some teams look good, some dont. Some have tyre troubles, other reliability.

So far, do you dare to make predictions?

Me, im going for a Vettel/Red Bull win.

Vettel/Red Bull for me too. It would be nice to see Webber win the Australian GP actually, but he's always been quite bad on his home ground and Vettel is pretty much now on a different level anyway.

I can afford a £1 for the chance of a £33 win. It's the Brawn year I kicked myself having heard how good the car was pre season and only won £150 on a £2 bet, should have cashed in ££££'s that year :(

What is most amazing is that at this time, 18 people think McLaren will win, but only 17 think a McLaren driver will win...

Well, good faith in Mclarens ability then. And more votes for Button than Hamilton! Amazing.

Going by media reports there is a possibility this may be the last AGP as the Victorian Government is getting very edgey over spending on the unfinancially viable event in these financially troubled times.
Maybe Bernie will have to reduce his demands or a few more may fall over too.

I think the poll is quite conclusive in that people think only two teams have a chance of winning.

It's like La Liga on wheels.

brilliant way of showing a flaw in the poll. Just ask the driver and the first question is automatically responded.

I've choosen RBR, Mercedes and others because of Sauber. If people here think Lotus can win, why not Sauber?

I made that mistake too, I remember sitting at work when it was looking grim for button and barrichelo in late '08 thinking I really should put £20 on those two for the title... same score with Stewart making a podium in the first half of '99... so before the season started I put £20 each way on Kimi for WDC at 66/1 as 3rd isn't out of the question...think Frentzen '99...

You'd have to say Vettel for Oz going on past form, but I'm really hoping we get more competition this year and RB have slipped a bit...

I think it depends a lot on how Kimi goes today, but at least the poll shows Lotus gets more confidence than both Merc and Ferrari. Maybe a Kimi podium wont be such a bad bet.

Im all for a nice Vettel/Hamilton fight all the way to the end though. Lets see who is the best.

Kimi emerges unscathed from a First Corner, First Lap crash to win.

I really think we're in for a season where no driver will win more than 3 times. I think it's going to be that close between the Top-6 teams.

What is most amazing is that at this time, 18 people think McLaren will win, but only 17 think a McLaren driver will win...

It can be completely reasonable to vote like that though. Let's say you think the drivers have the following chances of winning:

Vettel 40%
Hamilton 30%
Button 25%
Webber 5%

This makes Vettel the favorite, but when you combine them them, the McLaren drivers have the edge.

Still, the more llikely explanation is this:

easy...in the case of teams, you can make multiple selection....OP's fault...

Now that testing is over we have a better picture of the order. McLaren are surprisingly so far stronger than I thought they would be to be honest I don't even know if a Red Bull will be winning the race in Australia or not. Long run pace would suggest McLaren is in stronger form than Red Bull however Red Bull appear to have the single lap advantage again. Which will play into Vettels Hands if he gets pole but my opinion is McLaren have closed the gap enough to Red Bull so even if Vettel gets pole its very unlikely he will be able to run away with an easy victory so the race itself may go McLarens way if they can keep with him.

With saying that McLaren for the team but as for the driver I'm still undecided on that.

Fixed that multiple selection, although a bit late.
