Opening this page in my normal sized browser tonight - is this really a page that says "The world's best motorsport website please subscribe"? Really?

Or if you use AdBlock+ - which even removes the annoying Castrol Predictor game among the 20 items it blocks

I don't mind adverts, I understand why websites need them and I never use adblockers on sites I frequently visit. However there is a clear line between short term profit vs. ridiculous amounts of adverts putting off potential customers. If I visited this site for the first time I'd probably never come back after seeing that mess. The site currently looks like a dodgy porn torrent site and we're one step from getting 888.com popups appearing. (I was going to say we're one step from those 'YOU HAVE WON A CAR CLICK HERE' banners but they have already appeared on the forum a few times haven't they.) ;)

I've got to the point where I have had to write a javascript plugin for chrome to fix the homepage.

I feel sorry for the developers who no doubt have to cross themselves everytime they add more junk to the homepage :/

Content generates traffic. Stability ensures it.

This site lacks in both areas.

You can't get something for nothing. Haymarket has to generate revenue and unless you pay for PLUS, then this is the result.

Didn't realise that IE9 has an inbuilt adblocker until now.
