I'm not convinced that you have up-loaded this to the correct forum.

Love it, now that's the way to live! Jim must know how to "retire gracefully."

What's the lineage of that M6B? I likely saw it run at Road America in '68.

I am glad you all enjoyed it. Not sure JP is ready to retire, when your job is racing why on earth would you want to :)? If this does not belong in the nostalgia forum my apologies. In making these for him, which I do for FREE, I wanted the video's to be what I as a car guy would like. Lots of volume, no silly sound tracks etc. Anyway I appreciate the kind words and will post more when I get them! His channel on youtube.com has many I've done. Feel free to visit Jim Pace Motorsports on youtube.

Love the Sebring footage  What an extraordinary place - somewhere that left a lasting impression on me, not least because I took a ride round in Andy Pilgrim's GTO Corvette in the early nineties.

Are we likely to see any footage from Road Atlanta, craiger? :)

Ask and ye shall receive! JP at Road Atlanta in a Can-Am Lola. Brian Johnson's car. Pretty sweet ride. He gets most of the field in the two laps I picked after a restart. I too would remember a ride with Mr Pilgrim around Sebring in a Corvette, alas no such ride has been given :)

The M6B shots bring back a clear personal memory - some years ago I was passenger in an M6B at Silverstone, and couldn't understand why the driver kept lifting off on the straight. It took me a while to realise the lifts were for gear-changes - I couldn't see his gear-change hand, and the rise and fall of engine-noise was hardly discernible from inside the cockpit. I think you can get the same impression from the clips (except that you can see the gear changes)

Couple new vids. Have more pending. Fun from Road America and Goodwood in this set. Jim Pace in a borrowed Lola T70 spyder at Road America this past weekend for the Hawk event. This was the Lola only race. He won :) The other is David Hinton in a also borrowed Lola T70 spyder at the Goodwood festival of speed. Both are good, have a vintage LeMans, McLaren from Road America still to come.

 Tony, "Jim" is fine. "Carlos" as well, maybe then I could race and play a mean guitar.

Ross, Oh, I'd have the pace... just not in my name. ;)

No shortage of personality here I can see :)

Le Mans Classic. '74 911 RSR Porsche On-board. My buddies Jim and George at the wheel. Started 74th and finished 4th. Part failure in qualifying caused the poor starting position. I will do individual laps later, but for now enjoy

Couple new vids. One is a dry lap at Le Mans in the class winning '74 RSR 911 Porsche that won in '75. Another is just a compilation of some can-am warm-ups, XKE's etc. General paddock sights and sounds. Lastly some onboard shots from last years Rolex 24 at Daytona from the Riley BMW of Fifty Plus racing. As always, Jim Pace at the helm!

Everything is in HD. I took the extra time to process in HD and JP records in HD. Youtube will often auto-select a playback quality, but you can always choose your own. Higher resolution is always best :) Glad you all like them. Figured it was a good lead into this weekends F1 and Sebring 12hours!

Two more goodies. One is from The Mitty at Road Atlanta. Can-Am practice. Onboard with Farrell Preston and his '66 M1B McLaren, the other is Don Norby in his E-type Coupe thrashing it out at Sebring with a big block mako vette, a 911 and v-12 e-type roadster. Good stuff

Couple more that I made. Few of them my buddy Jim Pace is narrating in real time, others I we did after the session. Some cool cars, Lola T70's, 911's, Riley DP's. Hope everyone enjoys. Subscribe to us on youtube if you like them! I especially like the Surtees Lola, such a cool car. Sounds great.
