The current issue of Autosport reports that Lola Composites is close to being sold, with Lola Cars to follow afterwards.
Anymore news? The last conversation I had with a contact revolved around their concern that the terms and conditions for any aspirant purchaser were not that attractive.

Are there any series that still use Lola's alone?

So what now for the teams that use their designs?
Are there any series that still use Lola's alone?
AutoGP uses only Lolas but they're moving to a redesigned car for 2013. One of the LMP teams currently running Lolas (Kodewa) will switch to its own in-house-built chassis next year, another one (Rebellion Racing) is in talks with Lola's former suppliers and subcontractors in order to build its spare part inventory for a full 2013 season with their current cars.

What is Martin Birrane up to these days? He has a bob or two, doesn't he?
And decided to keep them, it would appear.

Any carbon laminator worth thier salt will buy them and start whacking out spares.

The tooling and moulds will soon be in an auction.
Any carbon laminator worth thier salt will buy them and start whacking out spares.
Lola Cars is done for, but Lola Composites is still trading as a company and I believe that they own the tooling for whacking out carbon fiber components.

Good to hear that teams won't be left high and dry now.
