Hey All

I was lucky enough, to win a VIP tour of the McLaren Technology Centre and a gold, diamond and titanium Steinmetz ring from McLaren in 2008 for winning the Public Grand Prix League in 2006.

In the competition briefing they say the ring is an exclusive Steinmetz "Smart" Ring. Lewis Hamilton has a similar version of it which he wears/has worn. The middle parts swivels and the McLaren Marketing lady who gave it to me, told me that Hamilton loved spinning it, often during press conferences.

I believe Hamilton (and Alonso) were gifted very similar versions at the Monaco GP in 2007. Photos of the presentation are below.

"Both McLaren drivers were also given $10,000 rings, each one with a tyre tread motif in diamonds, to keep."

It's a really stunning ring, and in same condition as I received it. I've barely worn it, just kept it tucked away somewhere safe. However, times are tight and I'm keen to sell it. The size is q 1/2.

Any suggestions on how I should go about it?

Any idea where I could find more photo's of Hamilton wearing the one I won? Or where I could find the specs of the ring?

Thanks
Terence

These next 3 images are from a Steinmetz Presentation at the Monaco GP in 2007 where I believe Hamilton was presented with a similar version of the ring:

And finally, the ring itself:

Thanks for bringing that up. The ring was in development during the 2006 competition (as it says in the briefing), so the image must have been a concept one. During the season, they must have changed it to 2 bands.
