You know, the one some fans have at races. I need to wake some people up here in the office !

nononono. Not the horns, man
There's a special frickin whistle that simulates the F1 engine, even the pitch change when the car whizzes by. I've seen e few Ferrari fans with them in some races, and i'm telling you, the sound you get out of'em is wicked. I WANT ONE.

hmm, you're making me want one too now ... :)

else, we could buy a heap of S2000s and rev it to 18,000rpm for a few seconds, until it explodes and starts showering red hot parts everywhere like a Mir re-entry.. that could get a bit expensive though.

When you find out where, post the source. I'd wager they could sell plenty of 'em just through this site alone.

:smoking:

- I'll take 5.

C'mon people forchrissake.

There's guys here who know McLaren's carburator inside-out, yet nobody's got the info on the F1 WHISTLE. And they think they're F1 gurus.
Pah !

No wonder McLaren couldn't catch Ferrari in Oz, if they're using a carburettor... :D

The Lancia saga [Lanciagate? :)] is hardly the best advert for the 'For Sale / wanted' forum though, is it? :)

Perhaps not, but if you blew it really hard it might sound like a whistle.

My wife bought me one at the Nurburgring a few years ago. It turned out to be an ordinary kazoo being sold for around $5.00. It is also somewhat difficult reproduce accurate F1 sounds. Some people at the track can do it more justice than I can. Still I have had a lot of fun with it.

You mean it's just an ordinary dime-a-dozen kazoo?
