Another obscure story for you guys! That brazilian blog where I got Max Wilson article has now published this one:

Interview with Taki Inoue

Some nice insights from the often maligned japanese!!! He was never as embarassing as some stories used to tell. I saw at least ten drivers who did much worse in Formula 1!!!

That was BRILLIANT. Taki Inoue: you have my respect. Honesty, humour, and even talent for driving has your career was not that bad. Ide was far worse.

Taki is brilliant. A genuinely funny guy and he wasn't a disgrace in F1.

I find it amusing learning about any driver. Maybe it will help to have less bashing around this forum. We usually dismiss any qualities those guys in the cockpit have, even if ourselves don't have a clue of how they got there. Its the pinnacle of motorsports and the reason we watch its is because we have great drivers in every team. But no.... We gotta find some scapegoats to our frustrations!! lol

I think Max Papis (one of his team-mates that year) is more praiseworthy as a racing driver.

How the hell does someone basically unemployed for the last 18 years afford to live in Monaco?

Was that when he wanted the second seat at Marley GP?

He likely has some money from Footwork Express-Toll Global which has a lot of money and probably tobacco money as well... But that is something else to live in Monaco.

I wouldn't put down Max Papis either! When he got the grips with that crap Footwork he did show some potential... Those days were like a meat grinder for many drivers in medium to low teams.. Just remember Christian Fittipaldi, Morbidelli, Tarquini, Magnussen, Papis....
