This past June I got to see Danica Patrick's dirt late model car up close and personal that she raced at Eldora Speedway in the Prelude To The Dream. It is a cool car. I also have the diecast of this car on pre-order....

The car belongs to Tony Stewart. He fielded it for Danica at the Prelude. She tagged the wall but got a 15th. Not bad seeing how deep the field was and she's not a dirt tracker. Dirt is a whole different world. I'd bet there are at least as many dirt late models in the US as pavement late models. Perhaps more as most of the midwest is "dirt crazy".
