seems they've switched battery, turned off the fans, and are charging it up right now. 13% from what i gather when they switched battery. fans back on, but hopefully sorted till the end

Is he trying to get the caution out? Because that car is becoming a moving hazard.

sounds like they think theres a short in there, cos the batteries are fine, he's fueled to finish, and its exiting corners sometimes which are where the problems come from.

Im guessing this marks the end of his chase battle :( absolutely everything going wrong here on a track he should be hauling on.

48pts behind leader as they stand :(

Looks like he's coming back out, bonnet down.

I gotta say, the NCWTS race was a ton more engaging than this.

My freaking RaceView was stuttering so I was in the middle of rebooting my browser.

Then when it came back up, NASCAR.com served me up some race that was over a year old--I heard Tab Boyd talking on my radio.

I swear, NASCAR.com sucks so bad. I've seriously been considering just giving up on watching NASCAR because their RaceView sucks so bad with all the technical issues.

I rewound it and he didn't say anything other than "he ran over us."

So. My guess. Jeff gets the lead - then a late caution. And he gets run into, spun or hard moved away on the restart...

Sound familiar?

LOL Kyle tried to nail Johnson on that last corner and missed.

Aric Almirola just came out of nowhere to finish 4th. WTF.

Keselowski should listen to his cc. He's lucky he didn't get totally swallowed up there.

Yeah wtf indeed for Almirola?

VIP stream was on delay--NASCAR lap-by-lap was on top of it. Weird day. But JJ does it again. Not too improbable.

As an aside, if you are on the VIP stream and there is no live chat keeping up, it could be a sign that you are on a delay.

Well, thanks to all who were here--and thanks for providing some grip on reality. See you later.

Good race. Martinsville rarely disappoints. It's even moreso a two car race of the title now. BK did a good job saving his title chances by getting a top 10 today. And if I'm Michael Waltrip, I'm paying Brian Vickers to wreck JJ next week to get Bowyer back in the hunt. :p

BTW, did they ever say what exactly happened to Hamlin? I missed post race interviews.

It was a short in the car's master cutoff switch.

Right now, it's primarily a two car race, with Bowyer and Kahne hoping for issues with 2 and 48 to get further within striking distance by Homestead.
