Good move from Heikki. He really get foot between door and doorframe like those pesky jehova witnesses. Playing around even as test driver keeps teams noticing him and maybe Red Bull replaces Sebastian Vettel with him! Imagine, Mark Webber and Heikki Kovalainen! You heard it first here! ;)

Why on earth would they do that?

Lotus is going to need a new lead driver once Kimi goes to Red Bull. I'm guessing the Hulk, would be awesome

But Hülkenberg signed a 2 year contract with Sauber so he is not available for 2014 unless he has an exit clause. Kovalainen could be an option for Lotus, Kobayashi as well.

Everyone forgetting the Fernch driver Bianchi? If Heiki could get a McLaren seat in 2008 why cant Bianchi for Lotus?

I would believe the post was being sarcastic.

That has crossed my mind as well. And even if Kimi doesn't leave, Grosjean is looking shaky and the Hulk would like that seat too even if as a nominal #2 - he hasn't exactly been afraid to swap teams around for even minor performance gains!
