I have a large, 37" x 54" poster from the GP of Europe at Monza in I believe 1960. I think it to worth a fair bit of money. Any thoughts on how to go about selling it? Ebay, I don't see much real expensive auto racing stuff there; a dealer? If a dealer any ideas of who to go with? An auction house? I have never dealt with one of these.

The poster market is strange, at auction people sometimes pay a lot for Monaco & Le-Mans posters which are fairly common but they rarely pay much for other events unless they are exceptional (famous artist, event or car).
Ebay you'd have to be very lucky to find two people who stumble across your listing and bid seriously.
A dealer will probably get a better price for a less common poster.

In the UK Laurence Edscer buys/sells racing posters - autosportcollector.com
as does Spencer Elton - spencerelton.co.uk
and many other memorabilia dealers - most will be at events like Race Retro.
Jacques Vaucher in the USA also sells a lot of posters - arteauto.com

historiccarart.net also have a large range of posters and are also UK based, but I've never had any dealings with them.

Thanks Peter that is a big help. You are right about the market being all over the place. I have been looking about the web and there seesm to be no real logic behind the prices you see.
