How is your winter passing by without a race?

I only want to spend sparse time in front of a TV. A dose of 3-4/hours week is good enough.

Now that I have weekends again I've started cracking through my pile of books, finished one about Confucius a few days ago and halfway through Dark Pools, which I started reading in the airport and found surprisingly interesting. I also need to sort out Mandarin lessons.
So all in all I'm not missing F1, and by the time pre-season testing comes round in just a couple of weeks time I will be nicely refreshed and ready to dive back into the maelstrom again.

Have to search the internet for good shows to watch; sometimes play a bit of xbox to set a new lap record for myself

Missing racing? There has already been Dakar, one WRC and one ERC round, together with two rallies in Norway, and Petter Solberg has done a little rally in Sweden!
By definition those aren't races.

I am hoping karne has recovered, and gaining strength with each new day. Webber will need every help he can get.
Tsk tsk Sakae... such blatant trolling. I am disappointed in you...

For once I was almost happy when the F1 season was over - it felt overly long - but a few weeks ago I began having withdrawals.
Apart from a nice break in Spain over Christmas it's been a rubbish winter for us. Just found out our beloved cat has a terminal heart condition. Hope she can hang in there long enough for winter to break at least.
This snow sucks. Can't remember the last time the sun came out here.

Now it is time for US Nationals, and I am preparing to cheer on more favourites! And Europeans also!
