Schumi admitted that he had a hangover from the evening before. "The car felt differently this morning." :D

They always get hammered drunk on the Saturday and always suck on Sunday because they always have a hangover, even yesterday Seb said that he liked coming to RoC because he can drink with Michael

Maybe one day they will take it seriously, but I dont think they will.

Michael and Seb have been the face of RoC in recent years and the organizers use them to promote the show and to get crowds in the place, so they try their hardest during team portion then get drunk and enjoy rest of weekend with the other participants.

It would be good if Alonso and Kimi took part someday.

Kimi said he has been asked many times but he has said no. During McLaren years he wanted to do it but the team didn't let him. He doesn't like current race of champions because it's driven on stadium and not like it was during gran canaria years.

Also Jenson AND Lewis for the British team... no offence to DC and Andy Priaulx, but we're not exactly putting our best squad out there are we?

Any sites where we can see the complete timings and stats?

Like who was fastest in the R8, Euro RaceCar and the rest of the cars? (Would like to see the complete timings)

Thanks Raelene for sharing; must have been an interesting day for you, especially if you got anywhere close to drivers.

He gets to drive KTM and Buggy so much more than the rest though. I think he's the main reason they're manually deciding who drives what instead of a draw.

Does anyone have detailed results from the past few years? Last year I think the only non-Buggy/KTM car he drove was the stock car, like this year. I also remember a year where completed the whole tournament (7 or so races with the finals) driving nothing but those two. He's certainly very, very good, but I'm afraid his participation is not unconditional and the organizers have to make sure he drives what he likes.

Oh dear ...

MSC doesnt like ANY closed car - so why does he drive the Euro-Nascar that often??

And BTW:
It was explained a few years ago, that a couple of drivers have contractual obligations and are simply not allowed to drive cars of an competitor.
Which leaves in the end only the RoC-Car and the X-Bow as available cars.

It's also not true that Schumacher always only drove those preferred cars. For example when he lost in the final some time ago, it was because the random car select had given the touring car a second time (after 1:1 in final) ... and clearly that was a huge plus for the final winner (a touring car driver)!
