Hmm difficult question
I like both actually with Daytona signaling the start of the racing season after the long winter period and Sebring marking the start of the proper endurance racing season.

Daytona is great and I'd love to go there once but I really dislike the butt ugly DP cars
Sebring is just awesome, I've been twice and there's no better way to start your endurance year :)

So if I _have_ to choose it will be Sebring
I'd expect Daytona to be bigger domestically
and don't really care if they are in the same series now

Have to agree with you there. Daytona's an awesome way to start off the year and if nothing else the race attracts some quality star drivers, but the season properly starts at Sebring. What a magical event on such rough surface and wicked surroundings.

Gotta be Sebring for me. I even like the name of the track. "Sebring". It sounds so pleasant.

I'm looking forward to the 12 Hours of Sebring more than the 24 Hours of Daytona primarily because of the cars involved (zero interest in the Daytona prototypes; I much prefer LMPs), but I will probably follow both races. It'll be awesome to see both races as part of the same series in 2014, but hopefully (very unlikely) not at the expense of the current P1 class in ALMS/WEC.

Mm, the chance of LMP1s competing at Sebring beyond 2013 is something like 0,0002% :well: I give 95% for LMP2 though

Don't bite my head off Sonny but...

Seeing that the 24hrs happens when no other racing is going on I vote for that.
These days when Sebring happens the season is already in full swing.

Prefer Sebring 12H. I love to see proper LMP and GT car than weird looking Daytona Prototypes. Daytona 24H much popular in America I think because of the numbers of NASCAR and Indycar driver racing there and some American think World Endurance Championship is some kind of boring European racing.

Actually with those fins I have a hard time telling which is more ugly, LMPs or DPs. Still, the Le Mans cars are faster.

I prefer Daytona, probably because it's the only one I bother watching. The cars are boring, but all ALMS cars are just as boring, it's not the age for new exciting car designs. However, Daytona is an appetizer for the new season, with some big name drivers taking a stab at it, whereas Sebring has nothing compelling going for it.
