And 2 of the 4 pairs are teammates (Hamilton/Rosberg and Glock/Chilton), 1 pair both drive for midfield teams (Hulkenberg/di Resta) and 1 pair both drive for a top team (Button/Vettel)
So who do you think will get more points next year?
Personally, I think Glock and Chilton will both get 0- or maybe 1 or 2 on a fluky race result
Hulkenberg and di Resta will probably get about the same
Hamilton will outscore Rosberg
But Vettel will outscore Button by more than Hamilton does to Rosberg
So I'd say a slight edge for the German drivers getting a few more.
Interesting to see what you all think, if I'm allowed this multi driver v multi driver thread!

With Chilton being signed to Marussia, it leaves 4 British and 4 German drivers on the grid for 2013- that's without the small chance Sutil could get a seat.

That's exactly my thinking too.

for me it is:
Vettel - RB ~ Button - mclaren, even if the mclaren is a better car, Vettel to outscore Button is a safe bet
Rosberg - mercedes ~ Hamilton - mercedes, even though I support Rosberg I think Hamilton will edge him, but it will be close, and in the region they will be scoring, there are not as big point differences as in the region of Vettel-Button
Hulkenberg - sauber ~ di Resta - force india, see Vettel-Button
Glock - marussia ~ Chilton - marussia, yeah, not the ones who will make the difference.

nice comparison, as both nations will most probably have 1-1 drivers on each of the following levels: top team, no mans land between top and midfield, midfield, backmarkers.

Vettel will outscore Button comfortably, as will Hulk on di Resta. I feel Lewis and Rosberg will be close. Marussia will be lucky to score anything, ever.

Vettel
Button
Hamilton
Rosberg
Hulkenberg
Di Resta
Glock
Chilton
So probably a small advantage to the Germans.
If Bianchi gets the Force India drive there'll be four Frenchmen, too.

Btw. points from 2012:
Germany:
Vettel: 281
Rosberg: 93
Hulkenberg: 63
Glock: 0
Total: 437
They all won against their team mates and are in the same or a similar team now, so I'd expect them to get a similar number of points. Maybe some more for Rosberg and for Vettel the WDC benchmark is, of course, always a difficult goal, so there could be fewer points.
GB:
Hamilton: 190
Button: 188
Di Resta: 46
Total: 424
Hamilton moves to Merc, but I expect them to improve and he is unlikely to have as much bad luck as before. Chilton won't play a role.
Overall, a win more Germany seems more probable.
If Sutil joints FI, they would basically have Di Resta covered (same team), so they would be hard to beat.

Literally, in the case of Mercedes and (Grossdeutschland) Red Bull.Germany owns Britain here IMO.
