Well, seeing as the launch date has been announced we might as well have a thread on it.

I can't imagine a wholesale redesign compared to the '27, unless they've opted for a ghastly stepped nose design this year.

Hope not, the '27 seemed quick enough, when it worked of course.

There will be no stepped noses in 2013, as FIA change the rules about them.

MP4-28 will be an evolution of this years model so basically it should be a title contender from the begining of 2013.

The 'modesty panels' are optional, according to the Formula 1 website.

Which means the teams will only use them if it's beneficial to do so.

It was made very clear about 2013 car threads, a launch date and fluff doesn't warrant a thread, this is not a fan thread, when there is something about the car to discuss then look at starting a new thread.
