Following feedback received regarding the new rules which came into effect on 1 January 2013, we have agreed to allow a thread to be opened for the purposes of posting your photoshopped images. 'Photoshopped' in this instance means edited using any image manipulation software or service that allows you to make changes, including the simple addition of text, to a photograph or image that someone else has published.

This means of course that it does include memes, fails, lol's etc as long as they relate to a motor racing series, event or person.

However, the reason for banning the threads in the first place is still an issue and I would urge you to very carefully consider whether an image you intend to post is offensive, sexually explicit, defamatory, or just trolling. We had to delete a great number of incredibly offensive images last year where it seems people forgot that this is a public forum able to be read by anyone. You should consider;

Does the image make light of serious events taking place somewhere in the world today?
Is the image sexually explicit or use language or abbreviations which might offend, not by your standards, but others?
Is the image racist, sexist, homophobic or hateful in any way towards an individual, group or nation?

If in doubt, do not post it.

If you think that an image you see in the thread might violate any of the general rules of the bulletin board, forum or thread, then report it, Report It, REPORT IT. The continued existence of this thread depends not just on the individual who causes offence with their image, but equally on those who take offence. Historically, we receive few reports about images here, but end up deleting pages of discussion and complaints from people who could not be bothered to click the 'report' button, including some who quoted it into their post.

If everyone takes responsibility for the quality of the posts here, the thread has a future. If nobody does, it will be closed and removed.

What is true is that Adobe is terminating the activation servers for CS2 and that for existing licensed users of CS2 who need to reinstall their software, copies of CS2 that don't require activation but do require valid serial numbers are available. You are only legally entitled to download and install with that serial number if you have a valid license to the product!
