Bolded part: Show me one example of this in the 80s. Hint: You can´t. The only 1-2s in the 80s were Prost-Lauda, Piquet-Mansell and
Prost-Senna. All of them are (multiple) WDCs and therefore certainly to rate higher than just "good".

Good for you it was them getting the dominant machines back then. Or are you going to argue that about anyone would have been good enough to score the 1-2 in the Prost-Senna 1-2 car, which is the only season of these I know something about?

But as close to today as 92, 96, 02 and 04 you can check what I mean. That has happened less and less with time. Nearly 10 years without that kind of championship won by a good (but not top) driver on a dominant car or two guys getting a 1-2. And it´s not as if there were no chances for it to happen car-wise. 2009 and 2011 were perfect chances for a repeat of that. But now a Barrichello or a Webber (pretty good drivers) is not enough anymore.

I don´t know, what´s that supposed to mean. Or to rephrase: I that suppossed to be a rebuttal to my post or an affirmation?

But as close to today as 92, 96, 02 and 04 you can check what I mean.

You talked about the 80s. I answered about the 80s. So don´t change the criteria at will.
And btw. the last two examples, you mentioned, kind of prove my point. The superiority in terms of speed of the Ferrari in 2002 or 2004 was -in absolute terms - by not anywhere near as big a some speed advantages, that some cars had before. Yet they could easily achieve a 1-2, whereas that didn´t happen in some of those other cases, despite the comparitively bigger speed advantage. One example would be 1993. The Williams was easily a full second ahead of the field, Prost (4xWDC) was No.1, Hill (1xWDC) No2., but Senna was able to split them. As i said: The comparatively bigger driver impact could counterbalance the comparatively bigger speed differences.

That has happened less and less with time. Nearly 10 years without that kind of championship won by a good (but not top) driver on a dominant car or two guys getting a 1-2. ..and there were also "perfect chances" for a 1-2 earlier, but the "pretty good drivers" weren´t enough - e.g. 86 (but neither Mansell nor Piquet even became WDC), 93 (Hill), 97 (Frentzen) ,98 (DC), 2001 (Rubens).
