Anyone who followed Grosjean pre F1 will know he has a lot of potential.
He never looked slower than Kimi last year.
He just had a poor season, I don't believe this garbage that he lacks spacial awareness or any of that crap. He lacked composure and I suspect he's learnt that.

He WAS slower than Kimi on nearly all the races he managed not to crash. On several occasions the team had to ask grosjean to let him through, because he was much faster and losing time, other times he actually overtook grosjean after starting further back on qualy.

Yeah, grosjean can be fast. Nobady has stated otherwise. He was faster in quali at times, yes, and even in 2-3 races. But stating that he is as fast or faster than räikkonen is just delusional if you watched the last season.

I'm saying he's been faster SOMETIMES and he is unquestionably FAST. Which is exactly what your saying TOO!
Your second sentence then totally contradicts your first. If he is FASTER sometimes. He is therefore FASTER sometimes. How is it delusional to think he's FASTER sometimes in that case. :stoned:

In respect of the OP, yeah he's under a lot of pressure. But he's been under a lot of pressure since he started racing. I think it was Massa who said recently, that in the junior formulas he had to win/perform well to be sure he'd be in the car at the next race. These guys know what pressure is.

Fat-John obviously is under more pressure than the others due to all the incidents last year, but I think he was improving towards the end of last season. Having the off season too will help.

No doubt he is a fast guy. I remember thinking after the first couple of races last year that he would definitely win a race. I think if the Lotus is strong again he will be in contention for wins. I just hope that after all the crashes last year he's not too conservative.
