Only if they've a driver bringing more money than Chilton senior has. I think it's rather likely he has that his Marussia seat already.

I wouldn't underestimate him finishing every race either. For a team whose championship position depends on keeping a car running in an attritional race, having a driver who can reliably finish is a strength for Marussia.

There is no argument to suggest Chilton is truly an F1-quality driver. Given he is there, I think causing absolutely no trouble all year and keeping the carbon fibre bill minimal counts as a successful season.

I remember a monaco race got red flagged

Everyone seems to be overlooking the fact that there are other monied drivers with more Talent than Chilton on the market. Chilton was the weakest driver on the grid.

I don't think anybody is overlooking that. Maybe none of these other drivers want the seat.

The grapevine in Interlagos is suggesting that Guitierrez has signed to partner Bianchi for next year. A good combination of money and talent which should drive the team forward.

Now that would be a very surprising move.
