Been thinking about this ever since first test. I became McLaren fan sometime in 2006 and been since. But somehow I cannot warm up to McLarens present driver lineup. I end up cheering up for Lewis though I dont have much affection for Mercedes Team.

So this season I wish McLaren wins the long pending WCC and Lewis wins the WDC. Anyone else?

I sense this thread might attract the sort of people that wouldn't wish for either.

We will find out in 12hrs time.

If Red Bull is still 2sec away from the best FP1 time on primes, then maybe McLaren and Lewis stand a chance of bagging WCC and WDC.

No. As a Merc fan that's not surprising though. :) Saying that, IF and it's a BIG IF, LH would be in the position of gunning for the WDC, considering Merc's agile driver pairing, the OP's scenario would be very, very unlikely to have any chance of happening.

As a McLaren fan I hope the team win the Constructors and Drivers titles.

Lewis Hamilton I wish only bad results to until the day he's sitting in a McLaren again.

I would love a WCC at McLaren this year - as I think neither McLaren driver is up to it for a WDC then I would say Kimi for WDC would be great. Then a swap to McLaren for 2014 would round it off. :)

I think the second driver would favour Mercedes in that case.

I have the feeling that LH is your favourite driver, McLaren the team you back and that you are from England.

I might be wrong though ... maybe.

Threads go to **** :(.

I really can't see Button + Perez > Vettel + Webber (especially considering pre-season)

No, because unlike the British, not everyone has a huge boner about the whole Hamilton vs McLaren saga.

I feel Kimi or Seb should win WDC, somehow I cannot warm up to Mclaren's, Mercedes' or Ferrari's present driver lineup.

I'd like Lotus to win the WCC. Grosjean to have a decent season along with Kimi. Lewis way overdue his second wdc.

I'd like Merc to win the WCC because of all he stick they've got and it would be unpredictable and shake things up. It would be nice to have another team join RBR, Ferrari and McLaren at the top.

Wouldn't mind, if a McLaren driver can't win it, I wouldn't mind Lewis winning the WDC.

McLaren doesn't deserve to win anything for 10 years at least. THey had rocket last year, class of the field at early races, and at few in the middle and at the end. And they didn't get even one driver at the podium at the very end cause they are so much of sh*t.

Pit stops nightmare early on, reliability issues all the time, team management on par with karting team where 10 year old kids starts, can't focus on one driver, can't even fuel enough the car.

Hamilton lost at least like 60 pts just like that I would say, and it is coming from Lotus fan.

So No.
Actually I hope that htey will switch to Honda and be around 8th place.

I want Button to win the WDC and McLaren the WCC. Lewis is my favorite driver, but Merc won't have a good enough car this year. I drive a Merc and like the brand, but McLaren is so historic in F1 and they retain my support.

I wouldn't mind if McLaren won the WCC but I'd prefer it if Lewis got 0 points all season.
(I don't dislike the guy, I want Nico to get 0 too :p)
