I think it has more to do with not changing a winning team. What more could they have won with other drivers, haven't they won the the last 3 WDC and WCC?http://www.telegraph...ll-partner.html
“Lewis is a fantastically quick driver and he has expressed interest in driving for the team in the past. But it wouldn’t have been right for the team. I have great admiration for the talent he has but I don’t think Lewis and Sebastian would be the right combination.”
So having the two fastest drivers in the sport isn't the right combination, more like they don't want Hamilton beating Seb, Helmet Marko would never allow this, why do you think they kept Mark on, he is a good quick driver who is great support for Seb but never challenges him on a regular basis.
Redbull would never have Kimi, Lewis or Alonso partnering Seb
Are we in for another year of RedBull domination(2011-ish), if so, how do you feel about it?

That was Mclarens fault not the drivers who have always said they got on, Redbull are a better team than Mclaren and they have proved it season after season.
So the only explanation is that Hamilton paired with anyone equal or superior will lead to disaster, no matter the team's quality, no?

I like Red Bull domination far more than Ferrari domination. Simply because Red Bull doesn't cheat like red team does.

I expect Ferrari and Lotus to be right up there, and maybe Mercedes. We haven't really seen what those two teams can do yet. I think they put a lot of effort into tire evaluation today for the race. I don't think the Mercedes is as quick as people think it is.
I still think it is not conclusive the order of merit for the season until we hit a few circuits down the track. This race is mostly about managing this weekend, on the bumpy sections of the track the McLaren looked simply awful under brakes and getting onto the power it's front end looked all out of sorts, however on traditional circuits I expect them to pick up a chunk of that back and get much closer to the front.
Ultimately it will be the team that cracks the balance of extracting the most out the tires for the whole race constantly over the first half of the season that will most likely win this year, and it may not be RedBull. I wouldn't write off the other big 4 teams just yet.
You know it makes sense........

Where the heck was Red Bull's race pace? I expected a Vettel cakewalk. Very surprising. But I'm obviously delighted that Lewis finished in front of Webber. Maybe the season will be closer than we think...
I heard the commentator say that Red Bull had problems? Not kers or drs, but they wouldn't say.

Nope... the garage confirmed... no problems for either Red Bull or Ferrari. This was their true pace

Very few words, yet pretty much summed up the whole thread.
