And those "oh you're so clever" NASCAR threads that have pics and links and bets and like, three races to watch.F1 threads are always much better than those bloated self-indulgent indycar OPs.
So concise!

this chinese race could be anyone's from redbull, mercedes, ferrari, lotus . they are that close . the mercs were so close to rb in malaysia

Nope. Fully functioning. I was merely adding my own snarky sarc to yours. So really, your own meter failed.I believe your sarcasm meter is malfunctioning gm.

Speaking of....
LOL no. You better have worked on your game (and your OP) by the time Jp sees this.they try to make it exciting but they fail

It should be really open and unpredictable with Alonso, Kimi, Seb, Lewis, Webber etc.. I doubt it'll be 2 Redbulls from 2 Mercs like last race. Both these next two races.. seems like anyone in those top 3 or 4 cars could win.

weather is predicted to be dry and quite warm all weekend so we will finally see the real pecking order. also tyres will be the key factor here so expecting Lotus to be really strong, one of Kimi's strongest tracks as he has been on podium there 4 out of 7 times.
Yeah impressive. Quite a few drivers are good here though: Nico won last year then it's been the wdc's since 2005, well shared out.

2011 Lewis Hamilton
2010 Jenson Button
2009 Sebastian Vettel
2008 Lewis Hamilton
2007 Kimi Räikkönen
2005 Fernando Alonso
Previous winners from the current crop, I wouldn't bet against one of those drivers adding to their tally.

My goodness, he just looks like a college kid. Hard to imagine this is the guy who is the reigning-3 time World Champion. Mind-blowing!
He looks a bit ashamed and cautious...like someone is going to throw rotten tomatoes at him..
I guess he's prepared for the multi 21 interrogations by journalists

Of course as a vettel fan i would love to see 50 points in two races(Bahrain,China) just that the people who really hate vettel for no reason will have something to talk after this 2 races. He is a triple world champion, and a very good racer,so people show some respect.
Weather looks fine, finally no rain for the session.

Which is not good. They could be the dark horse this weekend. They have been talking of improvements and Macca is not to be underestimated!!

Keep in mind everyone else is bringing upgrades as well. At this point they are still playing catch up.

I'm kind of used to Button being underestimated.
If McLaren can fit 4 wheels at each pitstop, he's in with a chance.

Button was still being underestimated the fourth race into 2009
If McLaren can really deliver a good car this weekend, I see him over Perez reaching the podium. Here's hoping!
There will be at least 25 threads bitching about Vettel afterwards
I'll begin. Vettel sucks

Yeah, I understand that - reporters asking questions. But fans' silly name-calling - someone waiting to throw rotten tomatoes, shoe-faced, etc. is just childish ranting..
Rant ? Silly ? You haven't seen nothing yet...
Seb has been told to apologise to the fans and the sport.

I wonder if the practice sessions will be run in the traditional cloud of industrial fog?
As China being the world's largest factory, there is no chance to improve the situation at all.
In fact, sadly, the smog recently could grown as far as south-west part of Japan when the wind direction is wrong.

I presume this is Nico's favorite track. He has led 78 out of 168 laps here in the last 3 years.weather is predicted to be dry and quite warm all weekend so we will finally see the real pecking order. also tyres will be the key factor here so expecting Lotus to be really strong, one of Kimi's strongest tracks as he has been on podium there 4 out of 7 times.

I agree, it might be time for his quarterly podium.
