No - but electronic visas are nothing new. Australia (for one example) has offered them for visitors from certain countries for several years. And it entitles you to a free beating by the secret police. What's not to like?this appears to be a cheaper and quicker method - presumably aimed at encouraging more foreign spectators.

So to got to Bahrain GP you need a e-Visa + tickets to get into the Grand Prix
and Visa + Passport + appropriate travel documents to enter Bahrain ?

Dont like the authorities there .... but this seems very sensible and convenient.
