HI all Racing sim fans,
I was wondering if anyone has tried the new Activision game Sports Car GT? I have found the behavior and grafics to be close to realistic. If any one would like compare times on this or F1RS "Ubisoft" or the new F1 Racing from Edios, I would be interested on how I campare.

Thanks,

Hi there!

I'm also a big fan of SpcarGT. I recently bought it, so I haven't been playing it that much yet, haven't even aquired a GT1-car. But from what I've seen so far, it's an excellent game with good graphics and great driveability.

I'd be very interested in comparing lap-times with you. Here are a few of mine, all with the GT2 Porsche 911 with default setup:

Chatham 00:34.63
Road Atlanta 1:08.03
Desert Speedway 00:53.88
Laguna Seca 1.30.41

Those are the best tracks, in my opinion. If you'd like to compare other times, just let me know!

I played and reviewed Sports Car GT, and rated it about equal with TOCA2. I think that they are currently the best of the 'saloon car' genre. A couple of years ago, SCGT would have been among the most realistic games ever. However, GPL has shifted the goal posts, and still makes everything else look like a glorified arcade racer by comparison. GP3 might change that, though.
