hey,

I just wonder, what do you all think about Formula 1 racing today, compared with past eras ? Do you think the sport is dying? Is it as interesting and spectacular as it was ? How does the future look like ??

At Atlas we love nostalgia. That's why we have a whole special forum for it.:)

Nothing irritates me more than somebody saying that the days of great racing in F1 are over. You know, comments like "You don't know what you missed by not watching X period in F1 - those were the days when men were me...". Crap like that really gets me angry!

I am a big fan of motorracing history (my favourite era in history is the mid to late 1970s - 1973 to 1979), but that doesn't mean that current racing in F1 is poor!!!!

Racing today is defenately different than a few decades ago. But it's still fun, and exiting to see new drivers comming up. I do think last and this year we have had a number of good drivers joining the ranks.

The frustrating thing with modern F1 is that we all know that it could be so much better if WE were running it :)

So how about Bira for FIA President
