I like the challenge of the ring. The fact a lap takes so long probably means you don't pound round for hours looking for the perfect lap, you concentrate on not making mistakes.

I agree that the Ring is the top challenge for a time trial, as it requires the ultimate in concentration, bravery and finesse... BUT... I wouldn't mind some time trials on shorter tracks too.
Perhaps a Le Mans special? LMP, Group C and GT classes, limited to certain PP?

I know I'm a little late to the party, but I just pulled out the wheel and gave it a go. Haven't driven in months.
Here are my times:
Z4: 6.51.892
M3: 6:45.818
This is with skid recovery and all aids off, except abs (1).
