So says Craig Scarborough on Twitter.

Meanwhile Motors TV tweeting that today would be a good day to bury bad motorsport news.

Hmm....

I think this has to do with Sir Alex Ferguson retiring.

Oh.

I did think the James Allison rumour wasn't quite of 'shock' levels, pretty boring if Fergie retiring (which isn't a shock) is all it is.

Oh well, move along!!

Shock is not AF retiring but Mourinho taking his place. (LOL) Sorry for the off.

Scarbs is saying it is F1 and related to senior personnel, so most likely James Allison.

Would one like to close this thread please?

Funny article talking about his spies at Enstone, when this news was already all over the internet last night.

Newey retiring and Allison following Kimi to RBR, would be shock news.

I think Saward made a typo, he obviously meant his "pies" at Enstone :)

For me news would be announcement by LdM that Newey is joining Vettel and moving to Italy. That's what I would call shock to my body system.

True but what about Santander? I would've thought they'd wind that down before doing something to alienate the "Latin Ferrari" regime (as it was touted 2010).

If Newey leaves Red Bull he will be retiring to design America's Cup boats not to go to other teams.

That's why move to Ferrari would be a shock. :D (I read about his sailing related dream for several years, if I am not mistaken even prior joining RBR).

It will be even more of a shock if Newey takes Webber with him not Vettel! :)

This appears to be the Allison move being discussed here; http://forums.autosp...howtopic=185533

If something else comes up it will be so unexpected and shocking that nobody will have seen it coming and you can start a new thread. This one is now closed.
