Is anyone else looking past this weekend already to two weeks hence? My GF just emailed me and was all "So are there any races that you just can't miss on June 22nd or thereabouts?"

I checked and Road America is June 22 and Sonoma is the next day.

So yeah, that's a bigger weekend than Memorial Day Weekend, as far as fun racing. Is there an F1 race that Sunday?

He did try to do them several years ago. IIRC he had a silly crash or something in the Cup race that may have started some of the discussion about too many second-tier races.

Agreed about the upcoming road course weekend. Ideally you'd like to switch the venues so that the top div runs at RA, but there's of course that location question (miss the old Riverside).

I can't quite get the hate for guys who do Nationwide/Truck races. If I was capable I'd do every race I could. Hell, I'd invent races on days when there weren't any. Any time I'm not racing, which is all the time, I wish I was. I wake up thinking about racing and lie in bed waiting for sleep thinking about racing. I've even had sex a few times, and each of those times, though fun, I wished I was racing. Therefore it seems kinda silly to hate on someone else for doing as many as he can.

They just hate seeing Kyle Busch win a lot and not being able to see the newbies do burnouts.

When really, if you think about it, its crazy that a wo/man can run 3 races in a weekend let alone win in one of them.
