no penalty ?? esp with a dead marshal on the same day
one would think safety should be enforced more strongly

no thread about the yellow pass ether ??????
even if the officials missed it
CBS showed it in replay in their coverage of Canadian GP
and talked about it
but no action ????

This was discussed elsewhere already.

It was yellow/red flag, indicating debris on the track.

Nothing more, case closed.

ray b, a short post, but it really is YOU who are missing things and not the officials.

As others said, this false report was discussed and "knocked down" in the Canadian GP Race Thread. Several clips/screen grabs were put up to show that it was a yellow/red flag for debris, not a yellow flag. The car being passed was also being lapped, not passed in the racing sense.

Final thing, the race was on NBC for folks like you and I who live in the States.

How the hell do you link the 2 events? The unfortunate accident happened after the race, so why on earth would you expect anything that happened beforehand to be enforced more strongly because of it?

Okay, question asked and fairly comprehensively answered.
