José Froilán González (aka 'Pepe', 'Cabezón', 'Pampa's Bull') died today, aged 90. He was the first man to win for Ferrari in F1, achieved the runner up position in the 1954 season and won the 24 Hours of Le Mans the same year.

R.I.P. Pampas Bull!!!
What a lovely, powerful man he was - only bad career choices prevented him from having more success (had he stayed at Ferrari for 1952/53...)
Fernando Alonso`s 2011 Silverstone win comes to mind - amazing that Pepe won it twice (1951 and 1954) - it would be more than fitting that Nando wins Silverstone next weeks and dedicates it to the Pampas Bull!

Something like this?
Loves how he's like "the hell i'm gonna stop, I'm gonna do 1 more lap and push it".
